    NONPROFIT WEBSITE OFFERS DUTCH RECIPE ARCHIVE, DUTCH CULTURAL RESOURCES

    LITTLE CHUTE, WI (January 28, 2009) – Little Chute Windmill, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating the Dutch heritage of northeast Wisconsin, features a variety of resources on Dutch-American heritage and Dutch culture on their website http://www.littlechutewindmill.org. A new Dutch Recipe Archive on the website provides free access to a number of traditional recipes. The archive continues to grow and recipe submissions are welcome.

    The Resource Page of http://www.littlechutewindmill.org brings together in one place a large collection of Dutch and Dutch-American cultural resources. Over 100 links direct visitors to resources on the Village of Little Chute, windmills around the world, Dutch studies and academics, Dutch language, translation, genealogy, the country of the Netherlands, Dutch-American cultural organizations, Dutch news and radio, Dutch literature and film, Dutch products and Belgium and Luxembourg.

    The resources provided on the Little Chute Windmill, Inc. website are a fulfillment of the organization’s mission to celebrate Dutch-American heritage. In the spring of 2010, the organization will open an authentic functioning 100 foot-tall Dutch windmill and visitor center museum in downtown Little Chute, WI. The Little Chute Windmill & Van Asten Visitor Center will educate visitors about the history and legacy of Dutch settlement in northeast Wisconsin.
    Little Chute Windmill, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising $2.5 million to build an authentic functioning 100 foot-tall Dutch windmill and visitor center museum in downtown Little Chute to celebrate the Dutch heritage of northeast Wisconsin. To date, approximately $2.1 million towards the goal has been raised.
