The quick low-down on how this site works:
HOME - (the little house on the Dutch prairie) takes you back to the home/front page of the site.
ALL - Shows you an overview of ALL new posts on this site. Anytime a new discussion is added, or a new comment is added to a discussion, the post will be placed at the TOP of the list. Depending on the volume of new discussions/comments you might miss a thing or two, so read on to find out how we want (you) to structure the info.
CITIES - The cities tab displays an overview of all cities/locations in our network. Any event/post which is specific to ONE particular city/region will (should) be posted in the forum for that city (or our moderators will move your post there). If your city is not listed, post it in the 'geographic area' forums (we will create more city forums based on post volume/interest).
NOTE: JOBS IN NYC, EVENTS IN NYC, RENTALS IN NYC, APT IN NYC, etc.
*ALL* OF THESE POSTS BELONG IN THE CITY-SPECIFIC FORUM, in this case NYC
QDAY - A special forum for nothing but the latest Queen's Day/Koninginnedag events world wide. On May 10th this tab will be retired until next year. Fee free to post your QDay events in this forum.
FORUMS - Shows a list of all forum categories on the site and provides an indication of the number of messages in each forum category. It's a long list, which will only get longer over time. This same list appears in the QuickJump dropdown on the left for your convenience.
* GENERAL FORUM
If you have a non-city-specific discussion, please add it to the GENERAL forum.
* WEB SITE/LINKS
If your discussion pertains to a particular site, or you wish to announce, promote, tip a site, then add it to the SITES forum.
* EVENTS
Please note, again, that anything that is location-specific MUST be posted the appropriate city/region, and not in either of these forums, or the discussion will be moved.
PHOTOS
Similar to the cities tab, this page offers you access to the latest picture sets for each city.
ABOUT
Tells you about us, the site, etc. Nothing new.
PROFILE
This is YOUR tab. Add your flickr feed, see which posts you've added, add more info about yourself, and, most importantly, YOU CAN SET VARIOUS USEFUL FORUM PREFERENCES
