    Update 3/22/2014:

King's Day Update It seems unlikely that NLBorrels will be coordinating King's Day on Saturday April 26 this year. Yolande and I are not able to take the lead since we expect our grandchild to be born right around that date and therefore we might not be available at that time. Our earlier request for someone to take the lead has not yielded any candidates, although several people offered to be on the support team should someone else take the lead.

So it's up to people individually to celebrate King's Day this year if they wish to do so. We will be happy to post any King's Day activities and initiatives open to NLBorrels members. If you organize something to that extent, please email

On Saturday April 26 it is 'King's Day' in the Netherlands! It would be great if we could organize a party again for the Dutch expats and their friends & family in Tucson!!

As you know, in 2012 and 2013 we joined forces with the Dutch RNLAF F-16 Detachment in Tucson. This year however, the Detachment has indicated that they are planning on celebrating King's Day with members of the Detachment community only.

This means that we (NLBorrels Dutch Expats) will not be celebrating King's Day together with the F-16 Detachment this year.

    I am looking for suggestions:

    What type/style of party?

    What location(s)?

---> I need someone to take the lead and put together the event (obviously with the help of a support team). Would you be willing to take the lead (or be on the support team)?
Looking forward from hearing from you!

Please email or call (520) 603-1313

    Best regards,

    Arnold Adriaanse
