    NAF-Biz New York invites you to a networking event featuring the following topic:


    Edgar Westerhof of ARCADIS U.S., Inc, the American subsidiary of a Dutch consultant firm, will give a presentation on adaptation strategies and directions for the New York City delta in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy


    Vicky Ginter of Ten Cate Geosynthetics, the Dutch textiles technology company, will discuss how their Geotube® marine structures help limit storm damage.


    Edgar J. Westerhof
    ARCADIS U.S., Inc.

    Mr. Westerhof is a Senior Planner and Water Consultant with a vast amount of experience in water management, waterfront development and civil engineering. Westerhof’s expertise is in the identification of projects and studies that support long-term and sustainable urban development goals, related to water management and urban planning.

    Westerhof received his Bachelors degree in International Land and Water Management at Larenstein University (NL) and a Post-Graduate degree in Urban Planning and Infrastructure at Van Hall Institute (NL).

    Vicki Ginter
    Ten Cate Geosynthetics

    Vicki Ginter is Regional Market Manager for Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States for TenCate Geosynthetics North America. Vicki has worked in sales and marketing of geosynthetic products for 28 years, the past 9 years with TenCate. She is responsible for developing projects utilizing TenCate Geotube® technology for marine structures and for containing and dewatering residuals in the territory.

    In developing projects, Vicki works with the U.S. ACE; EPA; state regulatory agencies, consulting engineers, contractors and the companies that own the projects. She has a Degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
