    New York Import Brand Ambassador

    TEAM Enterprises is an event and promotional marketing company who is seeking an energetic Market Manager to represent a top Dutch beverage brand in New York City. The Dutch Import Market Manager is responsible for working with TEAMs client and distributors to increase distribution and drive sales volume in assigned accounts. The prospect for career development in this position is great with several avenues open to high achievers. It is preferred that candidates speak fluent Dutch to be considered

    People Development Responsibilities:
    Recruit, hire and train quality promotional staff to properly execute promotions and speak to the consumer about brand attributes
    Conduct ongoing trainings for promotional staff by teaching brand knowledge and best practices
    Provide regular feedback and clear direction on all expectations and tasks to promotional staff to evaluate effectiveness and continuously improve execution
    Ensure employees are meeting all of TEAMs and the client objectives
    Deal with any performance issues in a timely manner and within TEAM policies and procedures, acting with a sense of urgency

    Client Relationship Responsibilities:
    Be the local point of contact for client and distributer personnel and maintain regular contact and communication between the client and TEAM
    Meet with the client to gather information and keep updated on product and industry knowledge; report all competitive activity in the market
    Always sell TEAMs values to the client and uncover additional opportunities to serve the client
    Identify and manage the improvement of all on-premise capabilities by providing leadership by example with relation to promotion execution and account management
    Work with sales representatives in the field assisting them in selling the brand and programs into targeted accounts
    Attend all required client and distributor meetings

    Field Execution Responsibilities:
    Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales goals for both on and off-premise accounts
    Manage all on-premise activities to ensure proper implementation and execution of promotions and special events
    Work with Promo Staff at promotions
    Have a pre plan for calling on accounts and develop a monthly promotion plan schedule
    Ride with the client and distributor personnel weekly to ensure strong relationships are being developed with each
    Conduct wait-staff education, training and entertainment events including Service Industry Promotions
    Work with distributor and promoter to set up promotions in and around events to maximize sponsorships
    Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with 80 to 90 targeted accounts that cater to the trendsetting consumer. Typical accounts are upscale, trendy restaurants, lounges, clubs, special events, fashion shows and grand openings
    Utilize strong selling skills to increase distribution and brand visibility in assigned accounts
    Ensure all assigned accounts are merchandised at all times with current POS
    Lead the Market Area charge for CDQ Cool, Different, and Quality items and ideas in the channel
    Communicate monthly/weekly promotional calendar to appropriate client and distributor personnel

    Administrative Responsibilities:
    Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner
    Maintain proper records for all expense reports and ensure they are completed on time with receipts attached
    Manage all budgets to ensure programs are executed within budget guidelines
    Complete a daily activity report when calling on assigned accounts or working at retail with personnel from the client and/or distributor
    Develop a weekly/monthly work plan and communicate it to appropriate personnel
    Maintain Promotional Staff files with proper signed paperwork to include, W-9, Contractor Application, Contractor Agreement, and copy of valid drivers license
    Manage all informational requests and recap key takeaways for TEAM Management
    Effectively and responsibly manage all assigned company and client equipment and assets to protect from damage and theft as well as provide proper packaging and shipping guidelines.

    Fluency in English and Dutch language preferred
    Bachelors degree from an accredited institution preferred
    Marketing and sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry
    Solid understanding of modern Italian culture and values
    Available to work a consistent evening and weekend work schedule
    Familiarity with local market trendsetting accounts
    Quality computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    Legally authorized to work in the United States
