You are cordially invited to attend a Friendraiser in honor of the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum - New York City's last example of New Netherland architecture. The event will be held on the rooftop of the Arsenal in Central Park on Thursday, May, 24 2012 between 6-8 p.m.
The theme for this gathering is an informal Garden Party, where guests can enjoy beer, wine, and light hors d'oeuvres while listening to the soulful sounds of Sarah King & the Smoke Rings. At 7 p.m., we will welcome special guest Kim Eierman of the Native Plant Center and New York Botanical Garden, who will speak about eco-beneficial gardening and the importance of native plants to the welfare of local birds and butterflies. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Wyckoff Farmhouse – New York City’s oldest house & first landmark – and our many events and community-based projects. A donation of $35 is suggested to help support and expand the programs we offer. Please remember to RSVP by calling (718) 629-5400 or by sending an e-mail with your name and the number in your party to: education@wyckoffassociation.org We are always interested in meeting new people, so feel free to pass along this announcement to your friends and colleagues.
We look forward to seeing you.
Yours sincerely,
Joshua Van Kirk Executive Director The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum 5816 Clarendon Road Brooklyn, NY 11203 (718) 629--5400
