Our company, Ipsos MORI, is currently recruiting native Flemish/Dutch speakers to work as telephone market research interviewers in our call centre, on a part-time casual basis (part-time casual means there is no formal contract guaranteeing hours but the person offered work is equally flexible, able to work as/when it suits his or her particular situation).

This type of work will generally appeal to students, actors, people who are looking for flexibility and need to plan their schedule on a week-by-week basis. It might also suit young Dutch people who are taking time off from their studies or are spending an extended vacation, and would like to experience what it is like to work and live in London for a period of time. There is no age restriction, however, Ipsos MORI will consider all applicants based upon their respective suitability. A professional telephone manner and reasonable command of English are essential (the position involves a limited amount of translation).

Foreign-language interviewers are paid at an hourly rate of £8.80. Tax and National Insurance are deducted and interviewers are paid every two weeks. The standard hours for Dutch business interviewing are 08:00/09:00-16:00/17:00 Monday-Friday. Full training will be provided.

Anyone interested should contact David on 0203-059-5581 (between 16:00-22:00 on weekdays) or leave a message on the training line, 0203-059-5588. Otherwise, our e-mail is and the address details are:

    David Walker
    Minerva House,
    5 Montague Close
    London SE1 9AY
