    A masterpiece of late romanticism,
    A musical monument to life, love and transfiguration
    Presented by Hudson Valley Singers in a joint venture with Hét Concertkoor from the Netherlands and the New York Metamorphoses Orchestra, conducted by Eugene Sirotkine

    Beautiful and universally recognized as an immortal masterpiece, Dvorak’s Stabat Mater will be performed by two large choruses, the Hudson Valley Singers of Westchester County, NY and Hét Concertkoor visiting from the Netherlands, at The Church of St. Paul The Apostle near Lincoln Center on October 29, 2011 at 8PM.

    The Hudson Valley Singers, hailed by The New York Times as one of Westchester’s “most ambitious choruses celebrate their 60th anniversary this year. Recent performances include major oratorios of Handel, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Orff, and Honegger.
