New Amsterdam Trade & Consultancy is a Dutch owned boutique consultancy company, is looking for an administrative assistant for 24-40 hrs/wk.
Job Purpose: To enhance the consultants' effectiveness by providing office & information management support.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Creating correspondence with potential clients, vendors and partners - Managing consultants' schedules including scheduling appointments and making travel arrangements - managing the office filing system - organizing special events for clients - purchasing office supplies and merchandise - mail handling for New Amsterdam and its clients - phone handling for New Amsterdam and its clients
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities required: - Strong self starter with a forward thinking mentality - Able to work in a small team that requires give and take - Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks/demands - Organizational skills - Customers service skills - Must maintain confidentiality - Advanced in MS Word, Excel, PPT, Card Scan - Comfortable with basic IT problem solving - Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Dutch is a plus but no must
