    Sales Director Fatboy USA (New York & Boston)

    Since 2002 Fatboy the Original develops and manufactures a broad range of lifestyle products. It all started with the original: an oversized beanbag of the highest quality with yet something to smile at, owing to the huge label on the side and the strange name.

    The Original represents the Fatboy lifestyle, “unexpected everyday living”. Besides beanbags in all its variety, our collection carries hammocks, sun embrella’s , outdoor lighting, bags and accessories, all under the Fatboy label.

    Our office for the USA has its base in Dallas, Texas, with sales service, marketing, logistics, warehouse and assembly facilities. The Fatboy USA operations report to the Fatboy Corporate HQ in the Netherlands. Fatboy has sales in over 50 countries worldwide and a dedicated design and development network.

    Do you get itchy from the status quo and are you a true independent thinker, a bit rebellious, certainly a self starter, kind of an entrepreneur, creative in your solutions and with a nose for deals to expand the Fatboy universe in the USA ?

    We of Fatboy are looking for a sales experienced manager with an understanding of European lifestyle and brands, preferably with a trackrecord in design, lifestyle products, gifts, home decoration or accessories. A team player with at least 5-10 years of experience in a relevant industry, a proven record in sales achievements in independent retail, key account (high end department stores) and resellers (distributors).

    Your mission will be to start and develop sales of Fatboy lifestyle products in designated markets and channels, on both the east and west coast of the USA. You will recruit and manage sales teams, develop sales strategies and targets and implement and direct the sales plan.

    We think to be successful in this job you will require higher education (university degree or equivalent professional training) and at least 5 years managerial sales and brand experience in the USA market. An absolute international orientation with very significant Europe exposure. A hands-on mentality to get sales development started and build the Fatboy brand.
